What is interventional medicine?

Interventional medicine, otherwise known as interventional pain management, is a fast-growing category of medical and pain management directly related to invasive medical procedures, “such as injections, nerve blocks, and physical therapy to treat painful disorders and injuries (Anesco 2014).” Interventional medicine is still currently a new field in the medical society.
