Digital strategy Yoga ™ provides a multi-dimensional approach to create a capability roadmap for the organizations. Multiple dimensions including, but not limited to, business goals, stakeholder needs, industry trends, innovation, current pain points, etc. give you a competitive advantage. Once these capabilities are identified, our consultants help prioritize and mark the inter-dependency for a robust roadmap with short-term, mid-range and long-term business objectives. Through this exercise, we also help identify the fundamental shift in the business process due to the impact of digitized processes. For more information, click here.

Digital Capability Roadmap and Planning:

Once the vision and strategic objectives are established, it is important to quickly map the digital capabilities required for all key stakeholders. In the healthcare payer, digital capabilities across key stakeholders i.e., consumers, members, providers, brokers, employer groups, government and employees are mapped against various business functions, i.e., sales and marketing, care management, service optimizations, health education and compliance. Any stakeholder in the ecosystem needs have a consistent experience as their roles overlap in the new emerging business models. For example, a member could also be a provider or a broker. Employers or businesses could also have a multiple-relationship model and it is important for organizations to realize this growing trend. With the help of Digital Strategy Yoga™ framework, we assess the core capabilities that are available or need to be built, and categorize them across multi-dimensional aspects of the business.

The Digital Strategy Yoga™ framework steps include:

Step 1: Assess the current state of your digital capabilities, your competitor’s digital capabilities and map them against your organizational goals.
Step 2: Develop and categorize the list of business and technology capabilities required for the stakeholders in the ecosystem. (Channel Strategy will be defined during this step)
Step 3: Categorize and prioritize the core business and technology capabilities (Step 2) against the multi-dimensional aspects of the framework i.e., increase revenue, optimize processes, new green field / blue ocean initiatives including technology and business innovations, and costs/benefits.
Step 4: Develop a communication / marketing plan for marketing the vision. Whether it is an internal project or an external project, communication, not status reports, is key to a successful buy-in of the business cap ability roadmap.
